Payment of Tuition & Accommodation Fees

The tuition and accommodation fees shown apply only to the academic year indicated. They are subject to change in subsequent years.

Payment of Fees
The School prefers that all fees are paid in full at the start of the academic year. There is, however, provision for either

a) three equal payments within two weeks of the commencement of each term
or
b) Four standing order payments.

Fees will be invoiced to students when they enrol, usually at the beginning of the academic year. Firm arrangements must be made with the Bursar at this point concerning the method of payment. All fees must be paid by 30 April otherwise penalties will be imposed. Students remain responsible for the shortfall between their invoiced fees and any financial assistance provided by grants and/or loans.

Payment methods
Payment of fees can be made as follows:
Cash or cheque (payable to WEST)
Bank transfer (please ask the Bursar for bank account details)
Standing Order (maximum of four)
Debit or Credit Card, online through the website. See ‘Fees’ - ‘Online Payments’

Retakes, suspensions and withdrawals
Students who are required to repeat any module(s) will be charged for each module at the appropriate rate.

Students who suspend any modules until the following year will be required to pay for those modules during the year in which they first enrolled for them.

Distance Learning students withdrawing from any or all of their modules after 5 weeks from the beginning of the semester are liable for tuition fees for all modules in the semester concerned.
Distance Learning students withdrawing from any or all of their modules less than 5 weeks from the beginning of the semester will be credited their module fee (less validation fee) on the return of any course material.

Campus based students withdrawing from any module will be charged tuition fees for the number of weeks already studied, plus module validation fees.
