WEST distinctives
Interdenominational, conservative evangelical, WEST is the first Reformed college in the United Kingdom to offer validated, recognised academic degrees. It is thoroughly Bible-based in tradition, history and theology, training people for preaching and pastoral ministries nationally and internationally, seeking to balance God’s Word and God’s Spirit in individual and corporate revival.

WEST’s aim is to train godly pastors, preachers and workers for Christian service to be good, effective communicators of God’s Word by engaging with and challenging the contemporary world.

The School stands firmly in the Reformed tradition and is vigorously biblical, believing that Scripture is inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative and sufficient in all matters of faith, doctrine, life and practice.

It seeks to encourage creative thinking and academic rigour by study anchored in Scripture in thecontext of a community based on lives of self-discipline, holiness, godliness and prayer.

WEST attracts students world-wide with its policy of flexible, open entry and the courses provide excellent value.
