About WEST
The Wales Evangelical School of Theology is located in the spacious, delightful grounds of Bryntirion House, which also provides conference and holiday facilities, near the village of Laleston, on the outskirts of Bridgend, in a beautiful part of South Wales. The town centre of Bridgend is only a mile away to the east.

    Bryntirion House

    The School began life in September 1985 when it incorporated the South Wales Bible College. From then until 2006, when it acquired its present name, it was called the Evangelical Theolgoical College of Wales. The School continues to be fully committed to the biblical Reformed faith.

    WEST mission statement
    To promote biblical thinking, personal godliness and God-honouring church related ministries worldwide.

    Students at WEST are encouraged to live godly prayerful lives. Undergraduate training includes several weeks of placement in churches/agencies.

    There are ample preaching opportunities as well as many Bible-teaching churches in the local South Wales area where students can fellowship and serve.
