Fees shown are applicable to the Academic Year shown above and are subject to change in subsequent years.
NEW TUITION FEE LIMITS (December 2010)
Please note that WEST is not directly affected by the government's recent decision to raise the level of tuition fees which are charged in the UK. Although WEST's programmes are university-validated, WEST itself is a privately-funded Higher Education Institution and as such is free to charge tuition fees independently of these limits.
TUITION FEES FOR UK & EU STUDENTS
A student is classed as a British/EU student if he/she has been normally resident in the UK/EU for three years prior to commencing his/her course, and that the residency has not been wholly or mainly for the purpose of full-time education.
UNDERGRADUATE
BA, DipHE, CertHE
Full-time: £6500 per year, inclusive of University validation fee
Part-time: £542 per 10 credit module, inclusive of University validation fee pro rata
BA, DipHE, CertHE by Distance Learning
£515 per 10 credit module, inclusive of University validation fee pro rata.
Charge for the residential periods of study: £12 per night
Costs incurred for examinations at centres other than WEST will be borne in full by the student.
Non-accredited options
Students may also study BA modules without university accreditation. The options are:
Full-time: £6000 per year
Part-time: £500 per 10 credit module
Part-time by Distance Learning: £485 per 10 credit module
Binary Course (Full-time only)
Year 1: Graduate Diploma £6830 per year, inclusive of University validation fee
Year 2: MA Theology (Contemporary Church Leadership): £6495 inclusive of University validation fee, when paid during Year 1. Otherwise the fee charged will be the full fee which applies to the academic year in which the MA(CCL) is studied.
POSTGRADUATE
MTh in Scripture and Theology for Practice
Full-time: August 2011 to October 2012 / January 2013 (14-17 months)
£6495, inclusive of University validation fee (payment is for the whole course of 180 credits over 14-17 months)
Part-time: 3 - 5 years
£722 per 20 credit module, inclusive of University validation fee pro rata
Charge for the residential periods of study: £12 per night.

Part 2 (Dissertation): £2300 per year during registration period, plus University fee on submission of the dissertation.
Write-up Fees: Students who do not complete their dissertations within their registration period will be levied a write-up charge of £700.00 per term or part of a term.
Note: UK applicants working overseas for 3 years immediately prior to registration may be required by the university to pay tuition fees applicable to Overseas students (see below).
MPhil/PhD
Note: Fees for DMin Part 2 (Dissertation), MPhil and PhD are provisional fees pending finalisation with our partner University.
Full-time: £4575 per year, inclusive of University fees.
Part-time: £2300 per year, inclusive of University fees.
A University fee is also payable on submission of the dissertation.
Write-up Fees:Students who do not complete their dissertations within their registration period will be levied a write-up charge of £700.00 per term or part of a term.
Research rooms are available on campus for an additional £100 per year.
